I just turned 18 years old, I am a NPC Figure Competitor. I did the Southeastern USA (placed 1st), Jax Physique (placed 3rd) and the Europa Games Show (place 1st), I will be competing in the Mid Florida in 4 weeks. I was born in NYC, raised in Brazil, and 2 years ago I moved from Brazil to US (Orlando-FL) to study and become a Sports Nutritionist. I always loved to train but I knew that the workouts are not everything, the nutrition plays a big role too. In order to achieve the body that I wanted I needed to build my body in the kitchen and sculpt it at the gym. I wanted to learn more. I wanted to understand exactly what happens with every gram that I eat and I was always watching videos, reading and writing down all of the information that I learned. I decided to start college and go for it.

I never thought I would be competing one day, I trained because I loved it, I felt good, I have a passion to workout. One day a guy at the gym asked me if I competed and said that I should try it. After that I went to watch some shows, this same guy took me backstage, introduced me to some athletes, and encouraged me to start competing. This guy a bodybuilder told me he knows that I have potential do it, that I am young and could have a bright future because I am very determined. I decided to give it a try. I have no words to describe how I felt after my first show, the Southeastern USA. , I was not nervous before going to stage, I looked to the stage, to the audience, and I felt good, the best feeling I ever felt, I found out my passion, my sport, my lifestyle. It was very hard for my family or even friends to understand that a girl 17 years old did not want to party, to drink, to hangout, or to eat fast food. Instead, I wanted to train as hard as I could, to rest, to prepare my meals, and study.. I heard all kind of things, but the same people who criticized my lifestyle came to me later to ask about training and diet, tip. I plan to keep on competing, improving my body, giving my best every single day, and also to become a Sports Nutritionist and be able to help a lot of athletes to reach their goals as well (cont. pg. 6).
