What to do after earning pro status?
For many the goal during NPC competition is merely to earn the coveted professional status. One of the greatest lessons in business I’ve been told is to constantly strive to perform at the level of my mentors & superiors to prepare myself for the next level of success.
Thus, the assistant manager is working at the level of the manager and manager at the level of the supervisor and the metaphor to sports is that the amatuer performs at the level of the pro athlete and pros strive to surpass the standards of the Olympia title holder “in all things.
Let me clue you in on an open secret though: The same rules that apply to business apply to your financial success as a professional athlete. Surround yourself with successful achievers and emulate them not the unbusinesslike complainers, haters and those looking for excuses.
Build on your momentum after that overall NPC title or professional status by establishing measurable goals on and off stage. As you look around today at who your peers in the sport are most will not be here five years from now because they didn’t have a long term plan or commitment to fitness.
I for one will be here in the fitness industry (unless death takes me) in five years whether you, facebook and instagram are or not.
My business was created around my love of the inspirational and motivating advocates of health and fitness and I rid myself of the failed life model that was settling for a life around my business. Be a pro in all things.

Please share something of your background and how it relates to your current interest in fitness and modeling.
I was not an athletic kid growing up, but all my friends were. I was inspired by one of my
best friends, Kasie Petite. She introduced me to the competitive side of fitness. I would never have that that I would have been competing or modeling always “dieted”. I have learned so much about utrition and have a new relationship with food and love the fact that I will never "diet" again, I’ve made a life style change. I am pretty reserved and awkward in front if the camera actually so I try not to take it to seriously, it's all about the experience and having fun for me (cont. pg. 6).
