‘’By the twelve!’’
it is common in Eorzea to swear using the twelve. It's not just the usual ‘’Confound it!’’ by Alphy. you can say: ‘’by the Twelve!’’ if something is really not going your way. Some people specify this by their personal Deity they worship. Warriors of Halone tend to shout ‘’By Halones fury!!’’ traders in Ul'dah tend to say: ‘’By Nald’Thal!’’ or if I might quote Hamon Holyfist ‘’By Thal’s balls!’’
