Level70 Progression
Savage content is on another level from what the general population play day to day! With some fights taking many sessions and attempts to even learn a single phase well. This however is part of the fun, challenge and frustration of progressing with friends.
This tier of savage (4.2/Sigmascape) basically starts at i340 and will go up to i370 by the end ready for the next tier. For the next tier (4.4) we should aim to be i370 ready to tackle the next bunch of meanies!

Ariyala is a great website for looking at what gear you can get and how to maximise your stats. This will be of great help to plan how to gear-up and get the stats you desire while doing so. Ariyala also has a Hunt Tracker people use to know when A and S Ranks are up and ready to hunt.
Item level isn’t everything though! Lots of classes do more DPS if certain stats are maximised over others. For example, most casters can ditch spell speed (Black Mages love spell speed however) and focus on direct-hit, critical, and determination. A player with well-balanced stats and decent ilvl should be stronger then someone wearing any old item at a similar ilvl.
