WHAT IS A RAID?
So, what is a raid? Basically, it is anything that is not a 4player dungeon. This can range from the lvl50 24player raids to the latest tier of “Savage” and ultimate. But what we often use the word “Raid” for in Final fantasy normally refers to a group of people trying to clear or farm a fight together. Raiding is synonymous with a higher difficulty in fight, which is more demanding for the party to clear, and normally involves learning mechanics.
Personal Events
Sometimes these events can cross-over, and is an opportunity to invite FC members to join in and help, often helping to form bonds or break them! I recommend that people don’t be shy and try use our fc members to help clear stuff and achieve their own personal objectives (akin to shouting out in fc chat “Anyone for levelling roulette”) – Discord can be a nice place to ask around, and doesn’t have to strictly be “an FC event” if you want to fill a party to do stuff.
FC Events
FC events can include raiding (ie Shinryu EX blind party, where players enter the fight without any previous experience/tutorials and go in “blind”). But can also be random and fun events! We had an FC effort last Friday to climb Kugane tower together, and was 10+ of us trying to get to the top dressed as chocobos. The FC is working on a more uniformed and fair way to promote and recruit for these and other events.
