Specialized Floor Tapes
Specialized industrial floor tapes are engineered to withstand specific hazards that may
compromise regular industrial floor tapes, the
most common being weight+pivot damage.
Pros
• Highly resistant to specific hazards
• Extremely durable
Even tough industrial tapes can melt or smear
when a forklift or other extremely heavy object
plants a tire directly on the floor tape and
pivots its wheel repeatedly on the line. While
not usually a problem, this can be a problem
(usually only in a specific area) in facilities
with constant, extreme equipment or vehicle
traffic. To combat this, extra-dense, ridgid
tapes exist to withstand that extreme pressure
and heat.
• Powerful adhesive
Also, floor tapes are available that combine the
toughness of industrial floor tapes with the
“grit” or “grip” of anti-slip floor tapes.
Common Industrial Floor Tape Lines:
• Easy application
• Long lifespan
Cons
• Typically highest price point
• SafetyTac EDGE
• SafetyTac ARMOR
• SafetyTac GRIP
