Extra noise from above. We have all fished with that guy that loves to talk loud and maybe even yell to you from across the water. “Hey Steve what color is that swimbait you have”. We all know these guys and I am sorry you might be that guy. We have been mindful of the 3 things that can announce or present so why are we going to do this. And why would we put up with this while we are float tube fishing. The time we have
on the water is a
great time to
relax and
recharge and of
course land a few
nice fish. People
talking loud and
yelling from
across the water
are just once again announcing our presents and break the calm we are striving for. In this I am not saying don’t have fun or announce your achievements. It just once again is about being mindful of our presents and respecting those around us.
The morning of the Irvine Trout Derby when I first started learning about float tube fishing, showed me how we are a part of the fishery. As a float tube fisher it is very important for us to remember we are in the environment of our target fish. Being in their environment gives us certain advantages as we all know but it can also hurt our chances to catch our target fish. Once again be mindful of your presents and please enjoy your day on the water.
