Flirtology - Fearless Flirting Module Two | Página 15
I
n this module we have looked at science and
body language and have learned:
The package in which we dress up the words is
more revealing than the actual words.
The way we move our bodies affects our body
chemistry levels and, ultimately, our behaviour.
There are ways to recognise body language and
be more aware of our own usage.
YOUR
Module Two task:
Are you an arm crosser? A shoulder huncher?
Or a squinter?
This week’s task has three parts:
1. Observe if you have any distinct body language poses.
Enlist the help of your friends to help you identify and control
any unhelpful body language habits.
2. While you are in conversations, observe the other
person’s body language. Is it telling you the same story as
their words? (Use the anthropologist’s tool of participant
observation, which means even though you are participating,
you are not so fully immersed that you can’t step back and
observe what’s happening)
3. Try some of the ‘high power’ postures before any event
where you need a confidence boost and note any changes in
your mood.
