W ouldn’t it be great if you could accomplish whatever you want, whenever you want? You could, if it weren’t for those pesky obstacles that always seem to get in the way. The external obstacles, well, we have no control over those. However, we can definitely do something about the internal ones! In week 3 we will delve deeper into the mind and learn more about this. Exercise Four: Thinking about your goals, please list 5 things that have been obstacles in the past. E.g. Perhaps you’ve had a belief that you will fail, or a poor work/life balance, maybe you’ve spent too much time socialising in situations where it’s not conducive to meeting like-minded people. Please write these on your Module One exercises sheet For every obstacle, list at least one solution. E.g. Obstacle: ‘I am not using my socialising time wisely.’ Solution: “I will join a new activity or reach out to a new acquaintance to plan an activity.
