The more personal information you can disclose about
yourself in your question, i.e. that you have a sister, a
sweet tooth, you are from out of town, don’t like
Starbucks, etc. the quicker you will be able to build
rapport.
Revealing things about yourself is called self-disclosure.
It accelerates ‘liking’ and rapport building.
