BORDERLINE
BOARDGAMES
BBGAMES is a common proposal defined
by the gathering of 10 partners from
10 European countries, which in these
last months have been sharing concerns
and ideas, and which have a common
denominator: almost all have extensive
experience in international youth-work
directly linked with target groups with
fewer opportunities or which have
expressed their interest through recognition
of a similar need and shared their vision.
The main purpose of this project is to
overcome the needs of a practical and
enjoyable way of education in economical
literacy, due the economical crisis that
Europe is passing, and the resolution of
conflicts (that also occur due to difficulties
that youngsters face).
(BBGAMES)
The tension is rising in the youngsters
(especially the ones with less opportunities)
and the inherent difficulties that youth
organizations, youth workers, educators
and trainers face in dealing with this.
These subjects were considered priority by
the partners and the idea of creating and
developing board-games that could help
and provide a practical tool of education
on these matters, raised leading to the
creation of this partnership and project.
Is it really possible to recreate the complexity
of a conflict in a tense geographical area
through a simulation exercise? And can
you predict how young people will handle
it, if they, themselves, are in charge of the
proceedings?
These are at least a few of the goals of
“Mission Z”, a pedagogical and interactive
board game w X
