Kit Contents
Before laying ECOFILMPRO on either a suspended
wooden floor or concrete sub-floor it is necessary to
install a layer of ECOMAX-LITE thermal insulation.
ECOFILMPRO is a complete heating solution in a box for most
laminate and engineered hardwood floors.
Simply select the floor coverage required from kit sizes
available: 5m2, 10m2, 15m2 & 20m2
This will minimise heat losses and ensure quicker
heat-up times for the floor. It will also act as a means of
sound deadening which is required for laminate floors.
= Roll of 500mm wide ECOFILM
Unroll the ECOFILMPRO and cut to required lengths.
= Heating Element Connection Crimps
Cover the floor area with elements laid in parallel.
Elements should NEVER overlap. Connect the wiring
harness to the heating element with the supplied crimping
tool and insulate the connector with mastic adhesive tape.
= Cold Tail Connection Leads (Brown & Blue)
= Mastic Insulation Tape
= Green Polyester Tape Discs
Cover the total floor including non heated areas with a
layer of Polyester Vapour Barrier (PVB) before laying the
chosen floor covering.
