“I was more worried about what
others thought of me than how I
actually wanted to be,” admits Carly.
Now, she realises that a lot of
people go through life like this, but
there was one thing she was always
sure of.
“I desperately wanted to change,”
she recalls.
It was this urge that lead her to
start training as a bodybuilder.
People often get confused by the
word bodybuilder, but it was never
Carly’s intention to get huge; she
simply wanted to improve her body
aesthetically and maintain a good
fitness level.
The Process
“I not only trained my body as hard
as I could, but I also trained my
mind,” Carly smiles.
This helped her to develop a more
positive outlook on life and indeed to
gain some self-esteem.
Carly loved the positive changes

“Training helped me to build a far
healthier relationship with food.”
