The KMA Physicians’ Day at the Capitol will take place on Wednesday, February 22 from 8 a. m. to 2:30 p. m. at the Kentucky State Capitol Building in Frankfort. This annual event allows physicians from across the state to come together for a day that will include a legislative briefing, legislator visits and CME presentations. Tort Reform in Kentucky: Seizing Opportunities and Overcoming Challenges
KMA has long supported efforts to improve Kentucky’ s medical liability climate. During the 2017 legislative session, tort reform will continue to be a top priority as KMA, and
other stakeholders, advocate for common sense medical liability and lawsuit reform that will create a more fair and consistent climate for providers.
