GLMS HOSTS PAYER ROUNDTABLE OCTOBER 27
The annual Private Payer Roundtable, hosted by the GLMS Physician Education and Practice Support( PEPS) Department, will take place at the Old Medical School Building on Thursday, October 27 from 7:30 a. m. to 9:30 a. m. Representatives from Anthem, Humana and United Healthcare will participate in the Roundtable along with GLMS members / practice managers. prior to the meeting. Payer representatives will be available after the meeting to talk one-on-one with members who are interested or have claims-specific questions.
A light breakfast will be provided at the roundtable. Please RSVP to physician. education @ glms. org if you plan on attending.
The roundtables provide an opportunity for dialogue between practices and payer representatives on questions and topics submitted
2016 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM PHYSICIANS ANNOUNCED
GLMS high school team physicians volunteer to conduct physicials and cover football games for health issues. Mark Smith, MD, and Tom Steltenkamp, ATC, lead and organize this group each fall.
