really caring. Everyone who came through the door
trusted him implicitly. It felt like a safe environment
where he was offering them opportunities to reduce
their pain while seeing him less. I really appreciated
the opportunity to learn and thank you to GLMS for
allowing us to partake in this.”
GLMS Treasurer Brian Sosnin, DO, was partnered
with David Buschman of the Health Enterprises
Network (HEN) and both shared insights on how
the day affected them.
“It really was a blessing to me to work with David
Buschman, because physicians have been really
challenged with learning the business of medicine.
It was exciting to hear what HEN is doing to help
bring people together to solve these problems in
our health care system,” Dr. Sosnin said.

to expect,” said Buschman. “This is one busy man,
and he does a lot with very little resources. We saw
about 34 cases in one day, and the personal contact
he’s able to have with patients is amazing.”

Click Media, then Kudos. Gastroenterologist Dr. Jeff Tuvlin was partnered
with Norris Hamilton, VP and Assistant General
Manager of Horseshoe Southern Indiana, and the
two became fast friends.
“Norris dove right in and everybody on the staff
loved him. I think they’d rather work with him than
me somedays,” laughed Dr. Tuvlin. “This really is
2
a great program for attracting people in the com-
munity who want to be engaged in health care.”
“My day could not have been more special,” Ham-
ilton said. “The team Dr. Tuvlin works with is so
engaging. I see how they work together, and how
important the relationships they have are. I talked
to some of the assistants and they all said Dr. Tuvlin
engages them in the work they do and makes them
feel important. I envied the time Dr. Tuvlin gave to
each and every one of his patients. That’s something
we all crave as patients. Wow, this guy is amazing.”
After all the stories had been shared, GLMS CEO/
Executive Vice President Bert Guinn thanked ev-
eryone for coming and encouraged them not to
end the discussion here.
“I know the physicians here really appreciate your
comments. They do this every day, but having
someone come in and see their work from a dif-
ferent perspective is so valuable,” Guinn said. “We
don’t have an agenda for this event other than to
let you walk in the shoes of a physician. Let’s talk,
and let’s have a conversation about how we can
improve this community together.”
