GLMS AND SURGERY ON SUNDAY
LOUISVILLE INCREASE PARTNERSHIP
In 2016, the Greater Louisville Medical
Society and Surgery on Sunday Louisville will build upon a longstanding
partnership to better serve patients
with little or no health care by providing access to free outpatient surgeries.
GLMS has supported Surgery on Sunday Louisville since it began
several years ago but the new partnership will be beneficial to both
groups. For Surgery on Sunday Louisville, GLMS will provide credentialing for participating physician volunteers as well as increased
communication abilities and meeting space as necessary.
Erica Sutton, MD, is a general surgeon with U of L and executive
director for Surgery on Sunday Louisville. She guides the program
today much as she did when it first took off in 2013. But as it grows so
