MMM, also reflected on the event. “I really enjoy
Wear the White Coat as it allows me to pause and
reminds me why I’m so fortunate and blessed to
do this.”
GLMS Board Chair Bruce Scott, MD,
talks about his time with Rip Rippetoe, president/CEO of the Kentucky
State Fair Board.
Remy Noble, project manager of the Humana Foundation, shadowed Dr. Murphy and praised the work
of his office. “It’s obvious how much passion Dr.
Murphy has for his patients. It’s remarkable how everyone in the office worked together. He just makes
it look so easy, and I can see why his patients love
him so much.”
Louisville Metro Councilman Steve Magre was partnered with Wayne Tuckson, MD, and also remarked
on the team atmosphere in the operating room. “I
saw the team concept first hand. Dr. Tuckson is an
incredible leader. He made the team feel so at ease
and so connected. The nature of his knowledge, the
patience to get everything lined up, it was really
an incredible experience. This isn’t about fun and
games or money. It’s really about the oath on the
white coat.”
Preparations have already begun for the sixth
Wear the White Coat program taking place next
