MED SCHOOL SENIORS MEET THEIR MATCH Senior UofL medical students discovered their residency locations at Match Day 2015 which took place at The Old Medical School Building on Friday, March 20. Across the country, students simultaneously opened their letters of residency excited to take the next steps in becoming a physician. While most of Louisville’s 145 graduating students jumped for joy and congratulated their peers, there were a few sad faces in the crowd as well. Hugs and encouragement were everywhere though, and UofL students now prepare to be sent across the country to enter the world of professional health care. Andrea Breaux at the 2015 Match Day. Andrea Breaux, winner of the 2014 GLMS Foundation Golf Outing Scholarship, was matched with her first option which was to stay right here in Louisville with a focus on ophthalmology. “I got my number one choice.
