Welcome to the February 2026 edition of FleetDrive, AfMA’ s bi-monthly e-magazine where we share the latest developments across the fleet and automotive industries.
We’ re stepping into 2026 at a time when the industry is facing evolving policies, advancing technologies, and tightening compliance expectations. For the first edition of the year, we’ re looking at the new directions the industry is taking in Asia Pacific.
Within the pages of this edition, we’ ll be exploring what the latest NVES changes mean for fleets, shifts in Southeast Asia’ s EV policies— including which incentives are ending— and the ongoing role of ICE vehicles in the region. We’ ll also be talking about some of the important skills fleet teams need to learn.
We also explore the evolving compliance landscape, advances in fleet safety and monitoring technology, the real cost of inefficient fleet management, and practical examples of how organisations are improving maintenance and operational performance.
