Recognising the need to support and build the skills of managers in both the fleet and automotive industries, AfMA and Swinburne University are offering an industry contextualised Diploma on Leadership and Management.
Who is this for?
This course is designed for the current and future leaders of the industry including fleet managers, and automotive industry managers from manufacturers, fleet management organisations and supply chain specialists.
It aims to help professionals who are seeking to expand and build their management experience. So, if you’ re currently managing a team in the automotive industry or if you’ re in charge of vehicle fleet and operations in your organisation, then this course is for you.
About the Course
The 2026 Diploma of Leadership and Management features a fast-track format with virtual classroom sessions that will last for approximately 9 months. This structure is designed to provide an immediate ROI for your organisation.
At the end of the course, there will be a workplace project presentation as part of the final assessment agreed between the employer, facilitator, and participant. The final project presentation can be a group project if multiple people form the same organisation are attending.
What You’ ll Learn
The 2026 Diploma is contextualised for Fleet Management. Hence, it will have 13 units of competency instead of the regulatory requirement of 12. It includes the following subjects:
