FLEETDRIVE switch to EVs . By then , there will probably more development for hydrogen vehicles , and they might just become the new environmental standard .
Public gardens and parks will be in domes .
Constant air pollution and depletion of natural resources may push authorities to sequester conservation areas in domes . They ’ ll be much similar to indoor public gardens , which are far and few across the world but are just as relaxing and beautiful to visit . Domes can provide more protection from dirty air and contain fresh air for plants to thrive in . Meanwhile , the outside world may develop more building and roads to make space for more roads , homes , and commercial spaces .

Smart clothing will be more developed and prominent .
Smart clothing has been in development for years now but mostly revolves around smart watches , fitness , and looks more active than casual . There ’ s not much variety in their designs and only a few well-known brands like Ralph Lauren and Levi have taken turns at smart clothes . In the future , we predict that smart clothing will be more commonplace and varied in designs . In fact , it ’ s probable that clothes will look less “ tech-y ” and more wearable .
While recent releases of smart clothing usually measure your body ’ s temperature , pressure , steps , and etc ., the future ’ s clothes could probably adapt to any environment temperature in relation to your own or even adjust to your size if needed . Current smart clothes from Tommy Hilfiger can track how often and how long someone wears their products and rewards customers for their usage . Large clothing brands could take this further with data of your size , height , complexion , and more to make sure their products are most suitable for you .
Say goodbye to your bills and coins !
E-Wallets and cryptocurrency have taken the world by storm , especially after the pandemic . Nearly everyone with a mobile phone or internet access can opt to do away with physical money and pay or invest using an app or program . The rise of e-currency was quick — so it won ’ t be a surprise if society moves completely past physical money and onto virtual means of payment . As of now , cards and cash still beat e-wallets and smart watch payments , but 30 years is enough time for financial institutions to adjust .
Developments on Mars
Remember the space race a few decades back ? Well , it ’ s still ongoing — albeit this time for Mars . Up to this point , SpaceX has been working on developing their plans to colonise Mars . No one ’ s quite landed on Mars yet , but in 2023 , several countries saw success in having orbiters and rovers land on the planet .
It only took a few decades for humans to regularly be sent to space , aboard the International Space Station . Astronauts in the near future could be seeing more frequent trips to space , even having a look at Mars and assessing it as a habitat for humans . This paper thoroughly examined the possibilities of Mars colonisation , stating that it may be possible , however , such an operation will need ample support for several aspects . A mission colonising Mars should be approached pragmatically , with significant investments from both the public and private sectors .
What do you think ? Is 30 years enough for a colony on Mars ?
