QFleet Electric Vehicle Transition Strategy

QFleet is the fleet manager for the Queensland Government . We provide vehicle leasing and strategic fleet management services for approximately 10,000 vehicles across Queensland .
In 2018 QFleet released the QFleet Electric Vehicle Transition Strategy with the primary aim to double the number of electric vehicles in the fleet each year , with the culmination of at least 288 electric vehicles being active in the fleet by 31 December 2022 .
QFleet has not only achieved this target but exceeded expectations , well and truly , with well over 350 electric vehicles ( EVs ) either active or on order by the end of October 2022 .
The decision by QFleet to pivot and adopt the bulk buying approach for the purchase of EVs has built a strong foundation for QFleet to deliver on the Queensland Government ’ s Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy 2022-2032 and Action Plan 2022-2024 . The strategy and action plan was delivered by The Department of Energy and Public Works in partnership with the Department of Transport and Main Roads .
