Implementing a safety-first mindset is crucial for fleets regardless of size . For fleet managers and operators , this means developing and implementing an effective safety program that can aid in maintaining Safety on All Sides of the Wheel .
As always , are trusted suppliers and corporate are ready to lend a helping hand so we can take the guesswork out of fleet safety . Within these pages , we will get some special insight into the latest products , devices , technology , or services that can help increase fleet safety , reduce collisions , promote accountability , and reduce operational expenditures and potential liabilities .
Paul Oliver , Director & Principal Consultant of Fleet Advisory , will be shedding some light on Grey Fleet Risks Gaining Awareness .
Furthermore , we have interesting pieces about the Safety Strategies Every Fleet Operator Must know by our very own Nelly Matikainen and IoT and Fleet Safety by Anby Alcomendas .
As you know , AfMA continues to develop and provide interactive online Driver Safety Courses to help promote a safe mobile workplace for all . These courses are there to inform drivers on new safety features found in vehicles today and explain the purpose and process behind ANCAP safety ratings .
We also have short thirty-second Vehicle Safety Feature Animations designed to help drivers understand how these vehicle safety features are designed to work . The animations are free for members to download and use to develop ongoing safety education for drivers .
On another note , we have just culminated our 2022 Personal Development Series sponsored by Isuzu UTE Australia . I hope the last 6 sessions have helped you in Enhancing Personal Effectiveness Through Leadership and Communication . My sincerest thanks to our presenters , Lisa Panarello of Careers Advance New York , and Aubrey Warren of Queensland University of Technology Graduate School of Business . I am looking forward to another round of enriching sessions in 2023 and I hope you can join us again .
Preparations are also underway for our 2023 Australasian Fleet Conference and Exhibition .
