AfMA ’ s 2022 Fleet Manager of the Year Award ( sponsored by BP and Geotab ) seeks to recognize the Fleet Manager who has exhibited leadership and innovations resulting in substantial cost reductions , lowered emissions , and improved driver safety .
Criteria for Nomination
• Innovative and creative Fleet Management strategy
• Improvements to efficiency and / or financial performance
• Active leadership - especially in reducing emissions , improving safety , etc .
• Measurable outcomes from implementation with supporting data
• Implementation of future planning strategies
The Fleet Environment Award is presented to an organisation that has developed an innovative and creative management strategy for improving environmental performance and reducing carbon footprint .
Criteria for Nomination
• Innovative and creative Fleet Management strategy for improving environmental performance and reducing carbon footprint
• Reductions in emissions and environmental impact and / or financial performance .
Fleet Safety Award
The Fleet Safety Award ( sponsored by Teletrac Navman & Innovation Group ) aims to highlight organisations whose leadership and innovation have resulted in the enhancement of the safety of their drivers , those traveling with them , as well as everyone else who shares the road with them .
Criteria for Nomination
• Innovative and creative Fleet Management strategy for improving fleet safety outcomes
• Reduction in the number of crashes / injuries / insurance claims / etc .
• Positive financial outcomes for the organisation from improvement of fleet safety policy
Submissions must be received electronically no later than Friday 12 , March 2022 . All nominees will be notified in writing of the Selection Committee ’ s decision .
