Help us to understand and overcome Australia ’ s model availability challenge
The number of EV models currently available in Australia is limited . This is partly due to Australia ’ s unique place in the global market , including our lack of fuel standards and being a right-hand drive market . This can make it difficult for fleets to find fit-for-purpose EVs to purchase .
The NSW Government wants to increase the number of EV models available in Australia — particularly BEVs — and ensure fleet operators have access to a broad range of fit-for-function vehicles . You can help us overcome this challenge by completing our purchase intent survey . Information shared with us is confidential and will enhance our knowledge of the planned scale of EV demand in fleets in the coming years . This will assist manufacturers , industry associations and government to understand the opportunity to grow the Australian EV market .
