COVID-19 affects all of us differently
but perhaps the largest impact is on
our suppliers. This issue of FleetDrive
features an update from several of our
vehicle maintenance suppliers. We hear
their stories and provide an update into
the what the future holds for these crucial
industry partners.
The industry has survived the initial shock
of COVID-19 and is now learning to live
and adapt to this new world. While we
don’t fully know how we’ll end up on
the other side of this pandemic – one
thing is for certain, we won’t be returning
to business as normal. Whether we
like it or not, routines have changed.
Financially impacted businesses are
adapting their strategies and priorities
which may include a reduction or removal
of a fleet management service. More
employees will continue to work from
home and video meetings will remain
more convenient even once all socialdistancing
rules are removed. Interstate
and international travel will remain limited.
It’s a different world entirely.
As always, the Australasian Fleet
Management Association wants to do
all that we can to help you and your
business through these challenging
circumstances. This edition includes an
update on how COVID-19 is affecting
AfMA directly including our major events
such as the 2020 Conference – which has
been rescheduled to May 20-21, 2021.
