The announcement included the fact that 8500 jobs would be lost over the period. In 2019 Telstra announced that the majority of the restructuring would occur in that year – pulling all forward. For the Fleet team this meant the management of 700 surplus vehicles across the Country. Steve Ellis is the National Fleet Lead for Telstra and has been with the Company for 42 years.
