S
tudent Tower O, the 15th
student housing facility on
campus, was inaugurated
on February 3, 2014. Designed
primarily to accommodate
singles and young couples
without children, this fourstory building features 14
double-rooms which are fully
furnished. A special feature is a
spacious lounge on the ground
floor.
A thanksgiving program was
held to recognize key donors.
The General Conference of
Seventh-day Adventists along
with world divisions: Southern
Asia-Pacific Division and
Northern Asia-Pacific Division.
Significant donors also included
Dr. & Mrs. Gary Hullquist, Dr.
& Mrs. Stephen Guptill, and
Mr. & Mrs. Jim Hippler along

with other anonymous
contributors who generously
supported this building
project.
The event culminated
with a ribbon-cutting
ceremony at the entrance
of the Tower O witnessed
by approximately 200
participants. Afterward
guests were invited to tour
the housing units.
Tower O is the first of four
new student towers projected
to be built as part of the AIIAS
Master Plan. Construction on
Tower P has already begun,
while resources and funds
are being generated for the
remaining two towers.
