In 2001, she moved to the South where she received additional training and received a master’s degree and certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She moved to Canada in 2004 to join the Prosthodontics Faculty at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry as an Assistant Professor. In 2006, Dr. Aragon started to practice in the London Health Science Centre, where she treated patients in conjunction with other specialists at University Hospital; as well as providing prosthodontic supervision to the General Practice Residents. The same year, she welcomed her daughter Catalina. In 2008, she added a baby boy, Horacio, to the London growing population. In July of 2011, Dr. Aragon opened Aragon Prosthodontics at 203-1135 Adelaide Street North, in London, Ontario. In this brand new facility she continues to provide high quality restorative dental care to the London and surrounding communities. Dr. Aragon is a published researcher and an adjunct reviewer with the Journal Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and the Journal of Dental Education. She is a member of various different professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada and the American College of Prosthodontics. n LONDON BUSINESS PROFILE D r. Aragon is one of the few Prosthodontists in Ontario to be both a board-certified Prosthodontist in Canada and in the United States. Born in Lima, Peru, where she was awarded her DDS degree in 1997, she then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to be involved in salivary gland research.
