What a cute little pickle!
Newborn Humpback calves are lifted to the surface by
their mother for their first breath of air. Some divers
think baby Humpbacks resemble little pickles.
A reasonable description considering
the knobs (hair follicles) on their
heads and their small slender
shape as compared to
adult Humpbacks.
