We went to Bora Bora to see BIG STUFF and we saw it all. Sharks, rays, eels and tons of fish. What was especially fascinating was the enormity of the underwater topography. Many of the reefs were massive fields of gorgeous hard corals. It was like diving through canyons, around boulders and across football-field-size sandy channels. Every day was a long underwater adventure with visibilty affording expansive vistas. Adding to the incredible sites below, was the picturesque topside of the island and surrounding lagoon. AND Bora Bora was definitely as romantic as it's scenery. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with this dive trip.

Divers who are blessed to venture to Bora Bora will experience it more fully with excellent physical conditioning and efficient use of air. Particularly on dive sites such as Tapu, Fafa Piti and Toopau, divers cover a good distance and want to stay to view the sea life as long as possible.

In this edition we share exercises and tips for using less air. Divers can apply this helpful information to prepare for Bora Bora diving and will notice overall improvements in performance for any destination. It really is amazing how a small amount of exercise can add longevity in the sport.

Bora Bora might be described as a once in a lifetime trip, but we truly hope to go back again - the sooner the better.
