Mike Jones (Nash Consultant) is the man behind the new baits from First4Fishing. The redball has been the main hookbait that has been responsible for many an anglers captures. The bait is quickly building a reputaion for being one that can almost gurantee you a fish in the net. This bait started to be used in the Welsh waters and is now being taken to waters all over the country with some amazing results. Not content with creating just one amazing bait, Mike soon came up with his second invention the C-Nut, now responsible for the largest CArp caught in South Wales.............
As we turned off the dual carrige way entering Taffs Wells, i noticed we turned immediately Right into the industrial site and there right at the start and well sign posted was First 4 Fishing Headquaters with a very well stocked and up-to-date tackle shop. They also have thier offices on site and a place where the well known Red-Ball baits are produced. We entered the main shop area and straight away we were greated by Mike Jones himself busy helping other anglers in the shop. A few other of the staff were around and i have to say what a warm and friendly welcome you get upon arriving. They are polite and ready to help with any question you have about baits, tackle or even tactics and tricks of the game to help you catch those fish. Mike himself admits to helping out a lot of charities within the sport and is ready to give as much help as is needed for disabled anglers so they enjoy the sport just as much as everyone else. If there is a question you have about fishing or questions on new venues to find out details on how they are being fished, if he doesn't actually know the place he will deffinately know someone there who does know the area and will be able to advise you on what the water fishes like. This is a huge bonus to anglers visiting new lakes and venues to give them the best possible chance of catching. The whole team are a friendly and great bunch of guys and this is a shop i will deffibately be returning to to purchase my tackle in future. If you are in South Wales visiting the area and trying out new venues then this is one stop you must make and go in and see the guys. You never know he may even put the kettle on while you are there......
