This advanced "Fluorocarbon" fishing line is ideal for taking advantage of easily spooked fish. This line has a low diameter and low water presence so is completely invisible and undetectable by weary fish. When used in the commercial Carp fishing we found it to be very strong and reliable. Due to its low diameter we were able to load our reels with almost 3 times the amount of line than normal. This gives a great advantage for those who like to fish at distance allowing for longer casts and easy flowing line from the reel. We looked at different applications this line could be used for:
POLE RIG BUILDING:
Using the 5 lb Carp Force Fluorocarbon fishing line we found it was great for setting up ready to use pole rigs. It gives a very fine presentation whilst providing you with the extra strength needed when hooking into the larger fish at commercial fisheries.
CARP RIG BUILDING:
When deciding what line or braid to use for a Carp rig set-up you have to take into account not only the strength of the line but also its presentation whilst in the water. The "Fluorocarbon" line is perfect for rig building and hook presentation as when in the water it is undetectable by the carp when feeding. Using a pop-up hook bait over a bed of particles it looks as if the hook bait is hovering above the bed of particles on its own as the line can't be seen. This gives the bait a natural presentation and you will find that the fish will feed a lot more confidently when they can't detect the line.
REEL MAIN LINE:
Using the "Fluorocarbon" line as a main line for your reel is great as it gives you a big advantage over other lines on the market. You are able to store a lot more line on your reel for distance fishing and also find when using it for Float or Waggler fishing it gives a great presentation for your set-up. Floats seem to travel over the line with great ease and due to its fine look and low diameter it seems as if your line just disappears as soon as it hits the water. this gives your bait a great natural look when sinking and doesn't spook any weary fish in your swim.
In conclusion i found this line to be great value for money and a brilliant line for Carp and Float fishing. It is brilliant for rig building applications and very strong. Even though the line seems to be half the thickness of other lines this doesn't reduce the strength. This is one line i do recommend for beginners and professionals alike to have in their collection.
