My whole focus now is on not having to waste practice or tournament time later working on equipment. That means having a boat organized so you can locate what you need, having everything you need for that particular event in your boat, knowing what stuff has to go in and come out afterward for the next event, and thinking of all the things that might be going on at the time.” Versatility and consistency “Being consistent is the most important thing to making a career out of fishing,” says Pace.
