of growers providing a
high quality product to end-users is key to the
successful promotion and sale of our brands.
This is why Sod Solutions has recently
instituted a documented Quality Rating
System based on farm visits and inspections
carried out by Sod Solutions’ personnel.
decided to give each grower a score for
participation in both industry and Sod
Solutions’ events since we have observed a
strong direct correlation between high participation and high quality turf production.
Cumulatively each of these categories will
help determine an overall quality rating score
that adds up to a maximum of 100 points.
Growers will be rated on numerous categories. These include weed, insect and disease
control, along with ratings for mowing, fertility and irrigation practices. We have also
