HOT BITES...
1.
1. GOLDEN GATE KINGS… Big salmon are
hitting for moochers and trollers. For fish to 30
lbs anglers are working the Ship Channel and Rocky
Point.
2.
SACRAMENTO RIVER SALMON… Big
beautiful kings ranging 15 to 30 lbs have
been the rule for anglers fishing from Anderson to
Woodson. Flatfish and Pautzke roe both work.
3.
DELTA STRIPER TROLLING… The fall run is
heating up and trollers are hooking up to 30 fish
per day. For bass, up to 11 lbs anglers are pulling
minnow plugs in the San Joaquin.
4.
HAT CREEK TROUT … Rainbows, brookies
and browns are on a good bite on the upper
part of the stream. Worms, Panther Martins and
Pautzke eggs are all working.
GOOD BETS…

BODEGA LINGCOD… Lingcod are moving
shallower and anglers are nailing fish up to 20
pounds. Metal jigs, swimbaits and large frozen baits
are all producing results.

ROGUE CHINOOK… Anglers are hooking
up while working the mouth of the river. For
success, slow troll rigged anchovies teamed with
green spinner blades.
7.
TRUCKEE TROUT… The Truckee River is
offering good fishing for browns and rainbows.
Spin anglers are using Panther Martins and crickets,
while fly guys dead drift nymphs.
8.
LEWISTON TROUT… Lewiston is producing
handsome holdover rainbows. PowerBait, night
crawlers and roe work best, but lures are hooking
some trout too.
SLEEPERS…
9.
WHISKEYTOWN KOKANEE… The bite is still
on for easy limits of salmon in the 16 to 17-inch
class. Apex Lures and Wiggle Hoochies are the top
offerings.
10.
SUISUN BAY STURGEON…Fishing
pressure is light, but anglers working
deepwater areas are tagging keepers. Salmon roe
and eel are the baits.
11.
ROLLINS LAKE BASS… The lake is in great
shape and the bass are biting well. For spots
and smallmouths to 2 lbs. toss topwaters early and
late and work Senkos during the day.

HALF MOON ROCKFISH… The coastal
rockfish bite for anglers fishing out of Pillar
Point has going strong. Shrimp flies are banging out
limits of quality bottom fish.

is a great time to target holdover rainbows.
Toss dough bait and inflated worms from the bank
for fish that range up to 8 lbs.
