COLLINS LAKE ‘BOWS… Trollers and bait
anglers are scoring limits and near limits of
trout. Kastmasters and Rapalas work for trollers,
while bank anglers toss dough baits.

SUISUN BAY STURGEON… Keeper
sturgeon are on the bite. Lamprey eel is
the best bait, but roe is also working for anglers
working 30 to 40 feet of water.

GOLDEN GATE COMBOS… Limits of
rockfish and crab are the rule for anglers
fishing the Farallons. Both jigs and shrimp flies
draw strikes from bottomfish.

TAHOE LAKERS… Big mackinaw up to and

spots to 5 lbs.

UMPQUA STEELHEAD…Drift boaters and
plunkers are landing steelhead. Dime size
pieces of cured roe work best, but plugs are hooking
fish too.
