HOT BITES...

GOLDEN GATE SALMON… Trollers are
bagging limits and near limits of salmon that
range up to 25 lbs. Rigged anchovies and herring do
the damage.
2.
DON PEDRO KOKANEE… Trollers are nailing
kokanee to 17 inches. Wedding Ring Spinners
teamed with Mack’s Double D Dodgers are working
well.
3.
FOLSOM TROUT… Trollers are scoring
rainbows that run 12 to 20 inches. The fish
scattered from 20 to 40 feet deep are hitting spoons
pulled at 3 mph.

NEW MELONES KOKES… Anglers are
hooking limits of kokanee. Uncle Larry’s
Spinners are the ticket for hooking salmon that
average 14 to 16 inches
GOOD BETS…

DELTA STRIPERS… The striper bite continues
to roll forward. Both trollers and bait soakers are
getting limits of fish that can range up to 48 lbs.

S.F. BAY POTLUCK… Big numbers of halibut
to 22 lbs and bonus stripers to 12 lbs are being
landed. Live anchovies are the bait, the south bay is
the best area.

SACRAMENTO RIVER ‘BOWS… Wild
rainbows to 3 lbs are on a very consistent
bite. Fly guys score on rubber legs nymphs while
conventional anglers rely on plugs.

EAGLE LAKE TROUT… A good trout bite is
underway at Eagle Lake. Trollers are working
shallow water from the Pelican Point to Shrimp Island
with grubs and orange spoons for trout to 3 lbs.

BODEGA BOTTOMFISH… … Excellent
rockfish and lingcod action is on tap for Bodega
anglers. Jigs, whole squid and shrimp fly rigs are
producing great results.

HAT CREEK BROOKIES… Hat Creek
has been heavily stocked with brookies
and rainbows. Red salmon eggs, crickets and gold
Kastermaster all draw strikes.
11.
STAMPEDE KOKANEE… Limit style
kokanee trolling is on tap at this high mountain
reservoir. Wedding Ring Spinners teamed with
dodgers produce salmon to 14 inches.
12.
CLEAR LAKE BASS… Bass to 5 lbs are
being landed. Early morning anglers are
scoring with topwaters, while night anglers toss big
worms and Brush Hogs.
