e are partnering up with the
Santa Maria Kiwanis to host this 2 day event around our passions- surf fishing , making lifelong friends & cooking ! This event will have all of that and more . Day one will be early registration and in person pick up of official

derby swag . This will also serve as an expo for any sponsors and vendors to meet contestants and show products . Day two will be the actual derby and ceremony for the winners . We are hoping to make this a fun event while also raising money for our local community through the Kiwanis organization through their efforts with the Elks Rodeo Queen
Candidate , Faith Totorica . This event will be broadcasted on multiple youtube channels as well as on fishsniffer magazine . We expect about 250 contestants . The top contestant will receive $ 2000 . Second place- $ 700 and 3rd $ 300 . There will be raffles for any items donated by companies . All donations are tax deductible . It didn ’ t take long for Eric Saar from Oakland to land his limit of king salmon that included this quality fish . He was fishing with the New Eldorado III out of Berkeley , California when he landed this beautiful salmon . Boat limits were caught for twenty-three anglers . That is 46 salmon !
