Stainless Steel Downrigger weight with thermometer
is their Stainless Steel Tube downrigger weights . I much prefer tube weights over the standard ball weights , because the tube weights bounce over the bottom easily , and let you know you are getting too close before you get stuck ! Many times , I want to be very close to the bottom , so I purposely bounce the weights . As soon as I see the bounce on the downrigger wire , I bring up the downrigger a foot or two and know I am still close to the bottom .
