1 . has begun and anglers are bagging halibut and stripers in San Francisco Bay .

2 . Boaters are bagging limits of kokanee salmon , along with some rainbow trout and an occasional king salmon while trolling Lake Berryessa .
LAKE CAMANCHE TROUT … Both bank
3 . anglers and boaters are picking up some big trout . Anglers fishing the South Shore , the pond and North Shore are usingTrout Magnets , spoons , Power Bait ( garlic ) and Mice Tails .
NEW MELONES BASS … Black Bass
4 . fishing breaks wide-open ! The bass bite is wide open right now for both bank and boat fishermen . The majority of the fish are no deeper than 20 ft and are extremely aggressive right now .

5 . for rainbow trout continues to be productive at Lake Pardee . Shore anglers are catching the trout on jigs or orange Power Bait from shore at rainbow and blue heron points in the main recreation area .
LAKE OROVILLE BASS … Bass fishing
6 . on Lake Oroville is wide-open ! Plastic worms , small swimbaits , and crankbaits are all working well .
FOLSOM LAKE KINGS … Trollers are
7 . hooking good numbers of king salmon and some rainbow trout at the mouth of South Fork of the American , while bass fishermen are hooking a mixture of smallmouth , spotted and largemouth bass on an array of drop shot rigs , Senkos , swimbaits , spinnerbaits and other lures .
LAKE AMADOR … Huge rainbow and
8 . cutbow trout are still being caught at Lake Amador . The lake continues to stock weekly and the bite remains HOT !

TAHOE MACKS … Mackinaw fishing has been very consistent with fish averaging 3-5lbs with some bigger fish up to 10lbs have been caught .
CENTRAL COAST … The salmon
10 . season is off to a great start in the Central Coast . Locating the bait and trolling the area seems to be the most productive approach .
NEW MELONES TROUT … The trout
11 . at New Melones have been on and off , depending on the day and the weather , and have been biting more on the warmer days .

Many of the planters or smaller rainbows can be caught in 10-25 feet while trolling . The larger rainbows are down a little bit deeper in 25-35 feet , while the big brown trout have been caught all the way down in 80-90 feet .

12 . limits of rockfish and some lingcod while using shrimp flies and jigs . Anglers are anxiously waiting for the salmon season to open on June 26th .
