E.E.Rene Cassin is a school with 353 pupils in Gien ,150 kms far away from Paris. As a weekly
scheduled time of the school is from Monday until Friday the school starts at 08.45 and
finishes at 16.00 except on Wednesdays-it finishes at 12.00 on Wednesdays. The school gives
so much importance to the development of pupils not only educationally, but also socially.
The students participate many social activities such as jaoining trips, swimming, performing
musical and theatral events. The project team has already known the unplugged coding
activities in their French lessons. With this First Step to Coding project, they learn the website
Code.org, They start coding in front of their PC or their tablets. They have enjoyed so much
the etwinning platform, Code.org, Unplugged activities and Hour of Code.
