Our school was opened in 1940 education-training. It was damaged during Burdur earthquake in 1970-
1971. However, in 1987 the old building was demolished and a new building was built. In 1986, after the
opening of Çanaklı Secondary School, the building, which was built as an annex in 1984, was allocated as
a secondary school. It was transformed into elementary school in 1990-1991. In 1998, our school was
renamed as Şehit Mithat Akça Primary School. With the 4 + 4+ 4 system passed in the beginning of the
academic year 2012-2013, our school Mamak Şehit Mithat Akca Elementary School and Mamak
Secondary School are continuing their education in the same building.
Our school has 2 floors, calorific and 6 classrooms, 6 classrooms and 12 classrooms.
A total of 82 students are enrolled in our school during 2017-2018 education year.
