When one is at sea
You never know what you'll see
You never can tell when
Or where your journey would end
But it's alright when you are sailing with a friend.
During turbulent storms
When life seems to be shut to all escape doors
Your friend is that companion
Who gives you a shoulder to cry on
Who wipes away your tears
Makes a mockery of your fears
Or may even succeed in making you smile
The storm passes by after a while
You'll survive
On rainy days
When you can't seem to make hay
Or keep troubles at bay
And hope is but a shattered plate
Your friend is that mate
Who seems to change fate
Who throws you a lifeline
In past or future time
Till your worst worries are gone
Sometimes making you feel you had none
Staying till you see the sun
You'll survive
When the weather seems too hot
When Society seems like it’s gone nuts
When you feel stifled and tied up in knots
