So the majority Bloodline in Australia that was imported back in 1976 such as Amigo Burlador who comes from two registered parents, Amigo was not registered with any registry body which means none of his progeny are eligible to be registered as “Purebred” Peruvian Paso Horses”. Which is a shame because the stallion Goliat was also import into Australia at that time and all of his progeny have suffered the same fate, due to people to registering these horses and keep these horses heritage going. Eligible horse for Studbook 2 The studbook that was launched in May this year is The “Australian & New Zealand Peruvian Paso Horse better known as Studbook 2. An new registry in Australia but Internationally launched to international Breeders. Some of these horses maybe eligible for this studbook if they come from at least of registered parent with DNA verified. People who breed Peruvian Paso x PRE Andalusian or PRE Andalusian x Peruvian Paso now have a studbook especially for them.
