“ Every group is different ,” Lee said . “ We tell them that ‘ this is your year , you are not last year ’ s group , that group is gone . They did their thing here , we were excited about them , but you guys are new …’ What we have here is a team that is getting better in their own way .”
In his nearly 20 years coaching the Greyhounds , Lee has mastered the art of having his athletes ’ fundamentals down through consistent workout phases in the summer , during two-adays and on into the season . The coaching staff also works to keep the team focused on what is in front of them instead of a game down the road .
