SJC Cares held its annual Dog Day
Afternoon earlier this season in Julington
Creek Plantation. The event, which
featured a dog wash, pet-icures (nail
trims), adoptions, photos, and lowcost vaccinations and microchipping
from Julington Creek Animal Hospital,

benefitted Ayla’s Acres, a no-kill pet rescue
organization in St. Johns County. Also at the
popular event were Flyball demonstrations
and an obstacle course for dogs. For more
