Ryan Eugene Foulks was born June 16, 1983 to
his mother Mary, father Dale and older brother
Brandon. The family lived in Rialto for his first few
years until younger brother Dustin was born. The
family moved to Victorville, where Ryan resided for
the rest of his life.
Ryan played many sports growing up, including
soccer, baseball, hockey, golf, skateboarding,
snowboarding and riding dirt bikes.
Ryan began his fire service career with Victorville
Fire Department as a paid call firefighter. After
completing a fire academy, Ryan was hired full
time and spent eight years with the Fort Irwin Fire
Department, eventually promoting to fire engineer.
During his time at Fort Irwin, Ryan married wife
Jessica; together they bought a home and had
daughters Brooke and Kherington, now 11 and 8,
respectively.
Ryan eventually left Fort Irwin and joined Colton
Fire Department, where he spent the last five years
