Local 935 supports the mission of the Federation of
Fire Chaplains as a co-sponsor of this year’s national
training conference in Cathedral City this October.
Local 935 supports the recent Long
Beach Firefighters and their Benevolent
Fund. Steven Lien did win the closest to
the pin award.
The Federation mission is “Serving Those Who Serve,”
committed to training fire service chaplains, instilling
the skills necessary to competently and effectively
serve the emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural
demands firefighters and firefighter families face day
in and day out.
On behalf of the board of directors of the FFC, the
host committee of the 2019 conference, as well as
our members throughout the United States, Canada
and other countries worldwide, our deepest gratitude
and thanks to the membership of IAFF Local 935 for
supporting our chaplains.

This year our members supported the annual San Bernardino County Fire Picnic.
Local 935 members support the annual Don Ferrarese Golf Scramble hosted recently in the city
of Hesperia. Our members finished in 3rd place
